Ingredients:
- 100 gr potatoes
- 150 gr peas

Q his is one of those recipes that call the winter warmth, friends and the happy evenings spent in the company. And 'undoubtedly one of the flagships of Giusy, the Zeppole Peancy are a sweet success for sure!

Ingredients:

- 500 gr potatoes

- 500 grams of flour 00

- 2 eggs

- 2 tablespoons sugar

- 2 tablespoons butter

- 20 grams of beer yeast

- milk ¼ cup

- 1 pinch of salt

- 200 g of sugar to bread


Wash the potatoes under running water to remove excess soil. Mettietele in a container with water and cook for about half an hour. Drain and peel them with the aid of a knife. Finally mash with a potato masher and let cool.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with energy to obtain a homogeneous mixture; suddividitelo in smaller loaves and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.

Film Review: The Gang of Santas



We went to the cinema to see it last night, we've always liked very Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo and the latter film does not deny at all, are super-friendly ... for those who loves them is a must see!
There is therefore little to say, pirmo because I do not want to reveal anything in advance because the second, really, is their classic film that mixes a lot of humor in tragic situations to capacity.
A note about Angela Finocchiaro, but she has always liked very much and also gives the film its best! So

Make-up & Christmas Outfit

Short post on 'outfit and make-up chosen for the vigil.
I wanted to dare with a different trick, I think, as usual ... no classic glitter and gold but a nice red color (which I think the brown is very good!) And bronze for the eyes.
Red lips and also on the red outfit but not totally, I chose a gray dress, gray tights with red lines, sooo cute boots and blacks, all decorated with a jewel ever black belt to loosen a bit.
I think all very balanced and perfect for Christmas!

Film Review: I pronounce you husband and husband


At first I was very hesitant but then I found out looking account of what this movie was cute and how to contain within it a meaning not be underestimated.
I recommend it to everyone, but particularly to all the homophobic in the hope that linking the brain and change their minds.
This is primarily a story of friendship true friendship with a capital A, between two men.

a 'list of things to do in these holidays ... yes but come on ...

Dee Dai Co. Ltd Taiwan

Since a child I learned to love this defeat Catania, thanks to my dad. It 'a pie, maybe more like a stuffed focaccia, and is a jewel of Sicilian cuisine!

dough Ingredients:
- 350 gr of flour "00"
- 150 gr
semolina flour - 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 / 2 cube of fresh yeast (about 12 grams )

Ingredients Filling:
- 500 broccoli
gr - 200 gr sausage
- 100 gr tuma cheese
- 50 gr green olives
- 50 gr
black olives - 3 tablespoons parmesan
- olive oil and pepper to taste .
- 2 cloves garlic

First make the dough for the cake, mixing all ingredients together. Apart from heat 1 and a half glasses of water, remove from fire when is lukewarm and dissolve the yeast. Combine the mixture and work vigorously . Let rise for about 3 hours in a dark place (oven off). Boil broccoli in salted water, drain when cooked and set aside. In a large frying pan put a background extra virgin olive oil, garlic and chilli. Add the broccoli and Sautee high heat. Add the Parmesan cheese, olives and salt, mixing well the mixture. Let cool and store. In another pan cook the sausage, leaving a low heat with a drop of water and white wine. When cooked, cut into chunks, and add the broccoli, then add the tuma . Divide the dough in two, and pave the two parties to achieve a very thin pastry.

With the first coat a baking sheet, pour the mixture and level off well. Let an edge of dough about 2 cm. Leaning over the second sheet, cut to size of the pan, like a lid. Vergo Fold the inside of the edge of the first baking sheet and brush with some olive oil. Finally, make a few holes with a fork.

Bake in oven at 250 degrees for about 20 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven and allow to cool before serving.

This is a recipe I found in a book dedicated to desserts I purchased in Australia (in fact I made some changes here and there), the title is "Cakes & Slices", and is full of ideas and interesting photographs. All recipes to try!

Ingredients:
-
125 g butter - 125 gr icing sugar
-
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract - 1 egg
- 250 grams of flour "00"
- 1 package yeast
- 200 grams of dried fruit (sliced \u200b\u200balmonds, pistachios, pine nuts)
- 250 g peach jam
-
1 pinch cinnamon - 1 teaspoon rum

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Coat a baking pan with parchment paper size 18x27cm. Let the butter soften at room temperature, then add the sugar and vanilla until the mixture is smooth and creamy (I use an electric whisk). Beat the egg and then transfer it into the mixture. Mix flour with baking powder, then sift it all and add to mixture.
Divide the dough in two and a half to deliver us into the pan , pressed with the fingers of the hand. Meanwhile, combine the jam and cinnamon and then sprinkle the rum sull'impasto. Then take the other half of the dough and add the chopped nuts, and then "crush" the dough on the cookie jar. Cook for about 30 minutes, then sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Prepare the stuffing in advance, you may one day before (to rest at least 12 hours). Let soak the figs in a glass of warm water with apple and tangerine peel, and boil about 5 minutes. The figs will absorb all the water, then allow to cool . Chop everything with the help of a mixer, adding liquor, cinnamon and coffee. Finally add the chopped dried fruit and let stand in refrigerator reference.

Prepare the pastry by placing a "fountain" the flour in the center and placing the eggs, sugar and butter. When the dough will seem sufficiently processed, store in refrigerator and allow to rest for at least 2 hours.
